One of my favorite fresh fish sushi place. Also their oysters are amazing. Small butt freshest I ever had and sauce is amazing. I had two dozen and Uni and some other stuff, but they’re fish as fresh as it could be.
We celebrated a birthday at Izumi and reserved a table for eleven. From the moment we walked in, the space felt welcoming—clean, bright, and stylish without feeling crowded. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a date night as it does for a group celebration, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite spots for birthdays. I started with a Cranberry Colada, which was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The prices are very reasonable too—definitely more affordable than a lot of other sushi spots in town. We ordered a mix of rolls to share: the Tiger Roll, Downtown Roll, Mango Roll, and Washington Roll. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, but the Mango Roll stood out as the clear favorite—it’s a must-try if you come here. I didn’t get photos of the rest of the group’s dishes, but the Chinese entrees and bento boxes are also a family favorite. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly, even with a large group. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Just warning, they do automatically charge gratuity for table 6 or more.AND on take out orders
Was in we come to Izumi quite often and every time I’m never disappointed, but this past Thursday I stopped in and our waiter. Jacob was beyond funny and caring and just was all About the vibes, he gave us great recommendations. He made us laugh and even though we were there an hour before closing did not tear him at all. It left such a great impression that I finally left a review for our favorite South Hill spot. I highly suggest the hibiscus margarita and a mango roll top-tier
I was very, very impressed with my lunch and the atmosphere. I had the New Zealand salmon sashimi, a wonderful cucumber roll, miso soup, and wagu beef. So good, so good!!! The service was fine, but the waiter seemed like he was having a hard day.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty sushi. Tried medium fatty tuna sashimi here for the first time and fell in love. The Kamakazi and Godzilla rolls were delicious, and the rainbow Naruto was a refreshing showstopper. In case there's no indoor sitting, it's worth sitting in the hot sun for
The best sushi in Spokane, no doubt! 5 stars across the board. The Tuna and Tuna roll is #1, the fresh roll with yellow tail was excellent and the nigiri is all excellent. Minimal rice is used across the board, which is how you know they are using only the best fish - no rice or soy or gimmicks required. A must try. We will be back and regulars. ++ the bartender was pouring the drinks nice too, the Cadillac marg was excellent, highly recommend. Can’t miss with this place.
The food was absolutely delicious. The hot sake is an absolute must, especially when followed by a cheeky cold sake next. I can not remember the names of what we got, but the portion sizes were nice for the price Also the waiter we had was one of the friendliest and most helpful waiters I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.
